About The Position

Park Nicollet is looking to hire LPNs and Medical Assistants to join their Dermatology team. This role involves providing practical nursing care to patients in accordance with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards, and PNHS policy. The position requires promoting a safe, therapeutic environment and advocating for patients. The role supports multiple areas within a clinic setting, requiring strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and maintaining patient confidentiality and rights. Working in dermatology offers a distinctive combination of collaboration and work-life balance within a supportive, team-centered culture. The department is the largest in Minnesota with six convenient locations and employs over 40 providers and a large support staff. Park Nicollet is expanding and aims to hire more providers annually. The role recognizes the value and vital contribution of each team member to the department's success.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing (for LPN).
  • Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing (for LPN).
  • Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by “The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) (for MA).
  • Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
