About The Position

As an LPN Medication Nurse at Sunrise Senior Living, you provide licensed nursing support through safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. You help prevent medication errors, identify health changes early, and protect resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.

• Experience in senior care or medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Accurately and promptly document in MAR/TAR.
• Monitor symptoms and administer ordered medications for symptom relief.
• Promptly report medication refusals or adverse reactions.
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs).
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.
