About The Position

Encompass Health is hiring an LPN/LVN to provide compassionate, personalized patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role focuses on supporting patients’ rehabilitation goals, understanding their individual physical, mental, and emotional needs, and contributing to positive recovery outcomes. The position offers access to equipment and technology, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.

This is a PRN position covering all shifts. Night-shift differentials are available.

Requirements

• Current LPN/LVN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in an inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital setting.
• Rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with personalized care plans and physician orders.
• Observe patients, monitor vital signs and symptoms, and assess responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses by reporting findings and carrying out patient care plans.
• Build relationships with patients and take time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs in support of recovery.
• Recognize and celebrate patient progress and victories.
