About The Position

The LPN/LVN provides professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit, clinic or region. As an LPN/LVN you will perform clinical tasks such as: You will assess patient health problems and needs, take vital signs, administers medication, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. You may advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. You understand own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. You work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but have some latitude over prioritization/timing, and work under minimal direction.

Requirements

  • Current unrestricted licensure as an LPN or LVN in the state of Texas
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong clinical background
  • Strong sense of engagement to be a team player
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish with the ability to read, write and speak in both languages
  • Hands-on professional Phlebotomy experience
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records
  • Experience with HEDIS
  • Knowledge of primary care medicine requirements (state specific)
  • Working knowledge of clinical operations
