About The Position

Founded in 1883 and accredited by The Joint Commission, our quiet campus has retained much of the cozy charm and character that existed then. The LPN/LPTN is responsible for the provision of nursing care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the hospital as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Requirements

Current nursing licensure
Current CPR and CPI certifications, or must obtain within two (2) weeks of hire offered onsite
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Effective oral and written communication skills and knowledge of telephone etiquette is required
Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor and other hospital employees
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of psychiatric nursing modalities preferred
Documented experience working with children (ages 5-12), adolescents (ages 13-18), and/or adults (ages 18 plus) preferred
