About The Position
We are currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) (TREATMENT NURSE) to join our outstanding healthcare team. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) (TREATMENT NURSE), you will put resident service first and ensure that residents and their families receive the highest quality care. Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will deliver a full range of nursing care.
Requirements
- LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
- Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
- Behavioral care / memory care experience
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
Responsibilities
- Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
- Conducting daily rounds to observe the resident’s physical and emotional status.
- Medication administration.
- Monitoring resident care provided by unlicensed staff.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information.
- Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.
