About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a full-time Orthopedics Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska. This contract position provides care for military families and their dependents. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no weekends or holidays. Any state license is accepted. Competitive compensation and a full complement of benefits are offered.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certificate from an accredited national, state, or military-trained equivalent school.
- Active, valid, current, unrestricted license to practice as an LPN in a U.S. jurisdiction, with no limitations, stipulations, or pending adverse actions.
- At least 12 months of LPN experience in Occupational Health within the past 36 months.
- Orthopedics experience, or similar skills and training, with knowledge of physical examination programs and preventative health care programs.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification.
- Current certification in medication administration and immunizations.
