About The Position
This is a 13-week assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The role requires the ability to administer medications, perform resident assessments, provide treatments, and maintain clinical documentation. Strong clinical judgment, communication, time management, and teamwork skills are essential. The position involves caring for geriatric and long-term care populations.
Requirements
- Active Maine LPN license or applicable Compact license
- Recent LPN experience
- Experience with medication administration
- Experience with resident assessments
- Experience with treatments
- Experience with clinical documentation
- Strong clinical judgment
- Ability to recognize and report changes in patient/resident condition
- Strong communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Strong patient safety skills
