About The Position

This position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working 12-hour night shifts in a long-term care and rehabilitation environment. The role focuses on providing direct nursing care to residents, many of whom may have dementia or other chronic medical conditions requiring continuous monitoring and support. The LPN will assist in maintaining resident health, safety, and comfort while working collaboratively with registered nurses, nursing assistants, and other healthcare professionals. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including working every other weekend based on unit needs. The nurse will be expected to adapt to the facility’s workflow and assist with patient care across units when necessary. The role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate care to residents in a long-term care setting.

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
• A minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience.
• Prior travel experience.
• Comfortable working with residents who have dementia or cognitive impairments.
• Prepared to float between units if needed.
• Work flexible schedules according to facility requirements.
• Reliable personal transportation.
• Complete a comprehensive background screening prior to the start date.
• Provide full work history documentation with explanations for employment gaps exceeding 90 days.
