About The Position

This position involves providing long-term care and skilled nursing facility services. New graduates are accepted, and potential relocation assistance may be discussed during the interview. Experience in a nursing home setting is considered a plus.

Requirements

Current license in PA or a temporary work permit.
BLS (AHA) certification.
Knowledge of medical asepsis.
Knowledge of body mechanics.
Knowledge of personal care of residents.
Knowledge of correct use and care of equipment.
Knowledge of observation techniques.
Knowledge of reporting and recording.
Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and its application.
Willingness to possess knowledge of and comply with regulations, policies, procedures, contracts and philosophy of the institution.
Ability to maintain a courteous and professional manner toward residents, visitors and co-workers.
Dedication to meet the needs of the elderly.
Awareness of cost containment.
Ability to utilize time fully.
Ability to properly care for equipment.
Ability to accept and follow written and verbal directives.
Good communication skills.
Good observation skills.
