About The Position

This position requires an active Nebraska LPN license and a minimum of 2 years of recent LPN experience. Recent experience in Long-Term Care (LTC), Transitional Care Unit (TCU), extended care, acute rehab, or similar post-acute settings is preferred. IV experience is required, and ventilator experience is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with Sunrise charting is also preferred. The role involves specific patient ratios: TCU 1:7-10, ECN 1:24, and AR/VAU 1:5-7. The schedule requires availability for three 12-hour day shifts per week, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. No blocked scheduling is permitted, and two weekends of work are required every six weeks. Orientation may take place at either the Lincoln or Omaha campus, depending on the start date. Please note that three or more call-outs during the assignment may result in termination. Professional and clean scrubs are required.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as an LPN/LVN in a hospital setting.
• Manage patient care within specific ratios for TCU, ECN, and AR/VAU units.
• Administer IV medications and treatments.
• Provide care for patients requiring ventilator support (preferred).
• Utilize Sunrise charting system (preferred).
• Adhere to a schedule of 3x12 day shifts per week.
• Work two weekends every six weeks.
• Attend orientation at either the Lincoln or Omaha campus.
