About The Position
As an LPN/LVN-Clinic, you will provide essential care to patients under the direction of registered nurses and physicians, functioning within the scope of your license. You will help ensure patient well-being, administer treatments, and educate patients and families about their care plans. The role is part of a compassionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare. The position is with Henry Ford Health's Providence Hospitals network, which serves communities across Oakland County.
Requirements
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
- Practical/Vocational Nurse credential from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained before hire date or job transfer date.
- High school diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the assessment of patients and ensure their well-being.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services.
- Educate patients and families about disease treatment plans, self-care, and available resources.
