About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an LPN - LTC for an exciting Travel or Local job in Flagstaff, AZ. This role involves monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications and treatments, assisting with ADLs, maintaining EMR documentation, supporting RNs in care plans, providing basic wound care, educating patients and families, following safety protocols, and responding to patient needs and emergencies.
Requirements
- Active state LPN license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical or hospital experience
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to RN or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Support RN in implementing care plans
- Provide basic wound care and assist with procedures
- Educate patients and families on basic care instructions
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies within scope of practice
