About The Position
LPNs at Lakewood's Care Center will provide quality, personalized care for residents through implementing their plan of care with compassion, quality and integrity. The Lakewood Care Center is a 100-bed, Medicare certified skilled long-term care facility recognized by Nursing Home Compare as one of the best nursing homes in Minnesota based on survey results involving nursing staff, health inspections and quality measures. Requirements
- Current MN LPN licensure
- Welcomes feedback from guests, residents and fellow staff
- Prioritizes patient safety by paying close attention to detail when dispensing medications and completing treatments
- Thrives in a team setting
Responsibilities
- Dispense medication
- Complete treatments
- Communicate information regarding resident needs through written and verbal communication to appropriate staff members
- Observe proper infection control and safety procedures
- Respond positively to feedback (questions, suggestions, problems) from residents, guests, family members and fellow staff
