About The Position
Carmel Manor is a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm for over 70 years. Our mission is to treat all staff and residents with love and respect. We are looking for an LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse for the Night Shift.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by Kentucky State Board of Nursing.
- Current KY LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse License.
- BLS certification required.
- FOR THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT STATE LAW REQUIRES A CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.
Nice To Haves
- Long-Term Care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in assessment and care planning for residents.
- Assist in coordinating and supervising all services on assigned units.
- Regular rounding on nursing units.
- Assure complete and accurate documentation through spot-checking and on-going supervision.
- Consult with Unit Managers in the provision of continuity of care to residents.
- Assist in ensuring adequate staffing for the nursing department.
