LPN Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, Per Diem
About The Position
Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking an LPN to join their Internal Medicine Team in Waterbury. The ideal candidate will be driven to provide patient-centered experiences through scholarly scientific inquiry, compassion for the human spirit and mind, advocacy and education for patients and families, and collaboration with all those who touch our patients. This group consists of primary care providers, specialists, and surgeons serving patients in Connecticut and western Massachusetts, offering a wide range of services including primary care, specialty care, surgery, urgent care, rehabilitation, and imaging and lab services.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Understanding of computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year experience for per diem roles
Responsibilities
- Contributes to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that positively impacts patient care
- Communicates effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family members
- Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
