About The Position
Juniper Village at the Spearly Center is a 130-bed skilled nursing facility specializing in behavioral and mental health. The LPN provides nursing care in a senior living setting, supporting residents’ health and daily needs as part of a multidisciplinary team. The facility describes its approach as creating a home-like environment for residents. This is a part-time position, with openings for 6 a.m.–2 p.m. Thursday through Sunday and 6 p.m.–11 p.m. Friday through Monday. Pay starts at $36.00 per hour, with higher rates available for experienced nurses. DailyPay is offered, providing the ability to be paid on demand.
Requirements
- LPN license (required).
- BLS certification (required).
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
Responsibilities
- Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
- Observe residents under treatment to identify progress and medication side effects.
- Monitor and record vital signs.
- Provide assistance as necessary with activities of daily living.
- Administer prescribed medications and injections, provide wound care, and perform other basic medical care tasks.
- Collect lab samples.
- Communicate with team members, residents, families, and medical professionals.
- Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
