About The Position
Ruston Rheumatology is seeking an LPN to join our team. This position offers competitive pay, insurance, 401k with a company match, PTO and paid holidays.
Requirements
- Graduate of AMA approved school of Practical Nursing.
- Pharmacology written examination satisfactory.
- BLS certification required.
- Requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, telephone, fax machines, etc.
- Requires knowledge of technical equipment such as infusion devices, monitors, suctions, etc.
- Current licensure in the State of Louisiana.
- IV Therapy Certification.
Responsibilities
- Administers routine services in caring for patients.
- Ensures confidentiality of patient information and performs appropriate tasks based on patient needs.
- Takes patient vital signs
- Reviews medical records and updates new information
- Administers medications and treatments
- Monitors patients after medications and treatments
- Administers immunizations and draws blood for labs
- Other duties as assigned
