LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Pediatric Home Care
About The Position
Private Duty Nursing with Phoenix is nursing the way many nurses imagined it would be — one patient at a time, meaningful connections, and the opportunity to truly make a difference. This role focuses on providing skilled, one-on-one nursing care in the home, administering and managing medications, monitoring and documenting patient conditions, performing treatments as ordered by the physician, and educating and supporting family members. Nurses will collaborate closely with the Phoenix clinical team. The company is also offering to cover the cost and support through the Missouri nursing licensure process for interested candidates.
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN or LPN
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, one-on-one nursing care in the home
- Administer and manage medications
- Monitor and document patient conditions
- Perform treatments as ordered by the physician
- Educate and support family members
- Collaborate closely with the Phoenix clinical team
