LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Pediatric Home Care
About The Position
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide private duty pediatric nursing care in a patient’s home. The role focuses on skilled, one-on-one care for a single patient, supporting meaningful, lasting relationships with children and their families. Nurses receive paid training, ongoing clinical support, and guidance from the Phoenix clinical team. Phoenix will cover the cost of obtaining a Missouri nursing license and assist with the licensure process for nurses who hold an active Illinois RN or LPN license. Weekend day shifts are available, and premium pay is offered for overnight and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN or LPN license.
- Strong assessment and communication skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated approach to serving others.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, one-on-one nursing care in the patient’s home.
- Administer and manage medications.
- Monitor and document patient conditions.
- Perform treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Educate and support family members.
- Collaborate with the Phoenix clinical team for ongoing guidance and support.
