LPN Leader Heights (South York)
About The Position
As an LPN Leader, you will have the autonomy you desire, the team support you need, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact. This role moves beyond traditional med cart duties, allowing you to utilize your assessment skills to manage resident care. You will build meaningful relationships with residents through one-on-one engagement and witness the positive effects of your care daily. We are looking for experienced professionals who value the company of older adults, appreciate a non-institutional, home-like setting and pace, possess strong critical thinking skills, are motivated to develop their clinical leadership, and seek growth within their role while receiving the support and respect they deserve. Pay starts at $32-$35/hour based on shift preference, with the opportunity to earn more based on experience.
Requirements
- LPN license in the state where employed.
- Minimum of one-year experience in assisted living or other health care setting.
- Leadership skills and the ability to form relationships with residents, their loved ones, and co-workers.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
Responsibilities
- Form bonds with residents, their loved ones, and physicians to create care plans using critical thinking, a “big picture” outlook, and good judgment.
- Coach co-workers to monitor and support resident needs with a sense of urgency and responsiveness.
- Round with physicians, oversee their orders, and monitor medications to ensure seamless, quality care is delivered around the clock.
- Educate residents and their families about health and wellness issues relevant to the care plan.
- Serve as and share the responsibilities of the Manager on Duty.
