About The Position

This Full-Time LPN - IV Certified position is for the Telemetry Unit at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL 60631. The role involves working Nights on a 12-hour shift with rotating weekends. The Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician provides direct and indirect patient care services, utilizing technical and manual skills within their scope of practice. This includes addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care, as well as meeting the communication needs of patients and their families. The individual will perform duties under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse and is expected to demonstrate knowledge of EMTALA Regulations and the triage process in the ER setting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
