LPN - Infant Home Care Nurse
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our South Jersey Skilled Nursing team to help take care of high acuity infant clients who are trach and vent dependent. Develop your skills to high-acuity, hospital-level care in the home setting and have unique opportunities to learn how to care for clients with rare and complex diseases. We care for people of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels, giving you the chance to explore and put your skills to work. Many clients require advanced care such as tracheostomy and ventilator management. We offer paid training to prepare you for the unique and rewarding environment you will provide care in, prioritizing your skillset confidence and knowledge.
Requirements
- Current valid nursing license and graduation from a qualified nursing program
- CPR in good standing
Nice To Haves
- Experience with high acuity infant clients.
- Experience with trach and vent management.
- Experience with NG tube feedings and oxygen management.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one care for high acuity infant clients who are trach and vent dependent.
- Manage clients with rare and complex diseases.
- Provide advanced care such as tracheostomy and ventilator management.
- Perform NG tube feedings and oxygen management.
- Utilize Electronic charting using Statewise.
