We're searching for a caring and compassionate person to join our Tallahassee, FL team full-time and contribute to a patient-focused care environment. This position is open to both licensed professionals and recent graduates pursuing licensure.

Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse certification from an accredited college or technical school, or a written acknowledgement of Graduate Practical Nurse status from the Florida Board of Nursing
Ability to read, understand, and follow safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write clear routine reports and correspondence
Ability to clearly present and explain information one-on-one and in small groups
Adaptable problem-solving skills
Collaborative team spirit
Math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, ratios, etc.) with the ability to create and interpret bar graphs
Technology proficiency with the ability to learn and use Windows-based software
Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.

Responsibilities

Works under a licensed provider or Registered Nurse (RN) to help maintain an organized, safe, and compliant patient care environment.
Communicates with patients in person, over the phone, and electronically to identify needs.
Works with the team to implement the appropriate plan of care.
Documents care in clinical systems.
Supports care gap closure.
Assists with other responsibilities as needed while complying with all healthcare regulations and CHP procedures.
