LPN Flu Nurse - Temporary
About The Position
Join Cleveland Clinic’s annual Flu Program and play a vital role in protecting the health and safety of our caregivers and patients. This temporary opportunity is perfect for LPNs who are committed to making a meaningful impact during flu season. We are currently hiring: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPNs): at $28/hour. Location Support: While all caregivers must be available to work at all Florida Hospital Campuses (divided between North Region and South Region), floating will be required between their local ambulatory sites. Orientation Details: All selected candidates must attend mandatory orientation.
Requirements
- Must have current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required prior to hire
- Must have Two years of recent clinical experience with IM injections required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills.
- Substantial nursing and medical knowledge across relevant therapeutic areas.
- Must work effectively with all health care disciplines.
- Two years of recent clinical experience with IM injections required.
- Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
- Requires normal or corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
- Sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: active or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and /or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Responsibilities
- Performs clinical activities which include administering vaccinations.
- Coordinates and tracks compliance programs to meet standards of regulatory agencies for the health and safety of employees.
