LPN - Float - Tipton and Frankfort

About The Position

This position provides float coverage, primarily at the Frankfort location in Family Medicine, Dermatology, or Orthopedics. The LPN will also be asked to provide coverage at Tipton Family Medicine. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Requirements

• Graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license.
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Successful completion of orientation.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of LPN experience.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to individual patients.
• Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team.
• Evaluates response to interventions and patient status toward goal achievement.
• Accepts delegated nursing measures for which he or she knows he or she is prepared, qualified and licensed to perform.
