LPN Family Practice
About The Position
Valley Medical Group is a provider-owned, multi-specialty group that serves over 55,000 patients across four locations in the Pioneer Valley. They are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Family Practice team at the Northampton Health Center. This role involves providing nursing care to patients and families using clinical skills and procedures within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act. LPNs are expected to work in a collaborative team environment and support the organization's needs by filling in where necessary. The position offers a dynamic environment with no night shifts or holidays.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Massachusetts LPN License
- Current CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Family Practice/ triage setting preferred.
- Athena experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage portal messages, phone calls, and patient cases.
- Follow nursing triage guidelines.
- Prepare patients for the office visit, including administering vaccines.
