About The Position

This position involves utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The LPN will collaborate with other healthcare team members, assess patient responses to interventions, and work towards goal achievement. They will also accept delegated nursing tasks for which they are qualified and licensed.

Requirements

• Requires graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
• Requires an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Successful completion of orientation required.

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Knows and uses the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to individual patients.
