About The Position

As an LPN in the Emergency Department, you’ll collaborate closely with registered nurses to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients of all ages. This PRN role offers flexibility while allowing you to contribute to high‑quality emergency services when your support is needed most. Requirements

  • Current Oklahoma LPN license required
  • BLS required
  • ALS required within six (6) months of employment
  • De‑escalation (TEAM) training required within six (6) months
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Minimum 1 year full‑ or part‑time (20+ hours/week) hospital‑based experience required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced emergency environment

Nice To Haves

  • Strongly encouraged to continue nursing education and pursue RN licensure

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with RNs to implement and evaluate nursing care
  • Conducting focused assessments and contributing to the overall patient evaluation
  • Reassessing patients per Nursing Standards of Care and modifying care plans as needed
  • Collecting and documenting patient data, noting changes from baseline and reporting appropriately
  • Participating in care plan modification based on patient response and predicted outcomes
  • Supporting safe, efficient emergency care in a high‑acuity, fast‑moving environment
