About The Position

This is a part-time, 12-hour evening shift position for an LPN in the Emergency Department at Samaritan Hospital, Troy. The role involves assisting in delivering care, including assessing patient needs, planning, and meeting the needs of patients in the Medical Surgical unit. The position emphasizes quality of life, career advancement through a strong orientation program, generous tuition allowance, and career development. It also offers positions and shifts to accommodate various schedules. The LPN will facilitate patient care with the care team, maintain patient safety, and ensure a clean, safe environment. Other duties as assigned and promoting an organized work environment are also part of the role. The LPN, under the supervision of an RN, will provide quality nursing care focused on excellent outcomes and patient experience.

Requirements

Current NYS LPN license
BLS
Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, physicians and coworkers
1 year of LPN experience
