About The Position

Brookdale Palma Sola is a 103-unit assisted living community seeking an LPN - Director of Nursing (Health & Wellness Director). This role manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community, ensuring residents' healthcare needs are met with respect and dignity, and quality care is provided as their needs change. The position involves being on call, completing assessments for new residents, interviewing new hires, and scheduling and managing clinical staff. The ideal candidate is a compassionate clinical leader who will serve as a trusted care support for residents, families, and staff. As Director of Nursing, you will utilize leadership qualities to inspire, lead, and manage the clinical team, providing the highest quality of care. You will build relationships with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers for exceptional personalized care coordination. You will also collaborate with community leadership, mentor associates, and enhance resident and family satisfaction.

Requirements

  • LPN license
  • Prior leadership experience in an assisted living/memory care setting.
  • LPN license with prior leadership experience in an assisted living setting.
  • Education as required to obtain state nursing license and state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN)
  • Driver’s license
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Clinical leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of technology, proficiency in Microsoft office suite and electronic documentation.
