About The Position

This position involves utilizing the nursing process for patient care, including planning, implementing, and evaluating care for individual patients. The LPN will collaborate with other healthcare team members, evaluate patient responses to interventions, and accept delegated nursing measures for which they are prepared, qualified, and licensed to perform. This role requires graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program and an active LPN license in Indiana or an NLC LPN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA is required, and other advanced life support certifications may be necessary depending on the unit/department specialty and patient care policies. Successful completion of orientation is also required.

Requirements

• Graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
• Successful completion of orientation
