This position provides direct nursing care to clients in acute crisis within a behavioral health setting. The role involves monitoring vital signs, performing basic health assessments, administering medications, and supporting client admissions and discharges. The LPN will also provide nursing support during episodes of emotional or behavioral escalation, monitor for changes in client health, and maintain accurate electronic health records. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is essential for crisis stabilization goals. The role also includes maintaining a safe and therapeutic unit environment, supporting meal service, and participating in team communication and training.
