FamilyCare Health Centers is seeking a Working Clinical Team Lead for their Patrick Street location. Requirements

  • Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
  • Active, unencumbered license in the State of West Virginia.
  • Must have the Diploma or Transcripts from the completed course.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on quality customer service.
  • Must be able to operate computer systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the flow of the clinic, assigning resources to resolve issues, initiating protocols, and communicating with associates.
  • Support clinical and patient services associates with tasks including triage, phone support, direct patient care, and check-in/check-out.
  • Create staff schedules and assignments, manage coverage for call-ins, and reassign tasks throughout the day.
  • Monitor work results and productivity, addressing inappropriate behaviors and setting an example for the team.
  • Assist with Human Resource needs, including evaluations, timesheets, feedback for staff evaluations, coaching, disciplines, FMLA, and employee health.
  • Assist with training coordination for clinical associates, including clinical education and competency checks for various roles and students.
  • Oversee and complete new hire orientation checklists.
  • Contribute to team building by assisting the leadership team in creating an atmosphere of healthy teamwork through incentives, rewards, and social activities.
  • Assist with incident and complaint investigation and resolution.
  • Ensure a safe environment by handling potential exposures and monitoring Biohazard and sharps storage.
  • Prepare, distribute, and archive education materials for associates.
  • Coordinate technology and equipment needs within the department, communicating with IT and other resources for hardware, software, and phone issues.
  • Oversee and delegate tasks such as conducting huddles, monitoring and maintaining VFC inventory, Family Planning supplies, and clinical/front office supplies.
  • Perform daily and monthly controls, testing, and cleaning.
  • Monitor associate EHR notifications and assign associates as needed.
  • Assist the Clinical Manager with quality data.
  • Ensure all areas are cleaned and stocked appropriately.
  • Participate in organizational work groups and meetings as required.
  • Coordinate provider/drug representative meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
