This position is for a Clinic LPN or Cert-Reg Medical Assistant in the Spine Clinic. It offers part-time hours (20 hours per week) during the day, with no on-call requirements. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Practical Nursing (for LPN).
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio required (for LPN).
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program (for MA).
  • Registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) (for MA).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a similar capacity 1-2 years preferred (for LPN).
  • Medical Office experience (for LPN).
  • 1-2 years’ experience in medical office or similar capacity (for MA).

Responsibilities

  • Delivers comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or advanced practice provider (APP).
  • Provides safe, patient-centered care in accordance with established clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilizes foundational to moderate-complexity clinical skills and knowledge in daily practice, contributing to optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations.
  • Includes direct patient care, administrative support, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to uphold the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Actively aligns with organizational values by delivering compassionate, respectful, and effective care.
  • Adheres to the scope of practice defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing (for LPNs).
  • Works under the direct supervision of a licensed healthcare professional (for Medical Assistants).
  • Applies foundational to moderate-complexity clinical skills and knowledge in daily practice (for Medical Assistants).
