About The Position

Adena Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant for a full-time position in Pre-Admission Testing. This role offers flexible scheduling, growth opportunities, focused patient care, strong team support, and the chance to impact the communities served. The LPN will deliver comprehensive nursing care under the supervision of an RN, physician, or APP, utilizing foundational to moderate-complexity clinical skills. The Medical Assistant will provide direct patient care and administrative support under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional, also utilizing foundational to moderate-complexity clinical skills. Both roles emphasize safe, patient-centered care in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements, aligning with Adena's values of Compassion, Excellence, Integrity, and Trust.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program in Practical Nursing (for LPNs).
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio required (for LPNs).
• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program (for MAs).
• Registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) (for MAs).
• 1-2 years experience in a similar capacity preferred (for LPNs).
• 1-2 years’ experience in a medical office or similar capacity (for MAs).
• Medical Office experience (for LPNs).

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or advanced practice provider (APP).
• Provide safe, patient-centered care in accordance with established clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize foundational to moderate-complexity clinical skills and knowledge in daily practice.
• Contribute to optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations.
• Perform direct patient care.
• Provide administrative support.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Uphold the highest standards of quality and service.
• Deliver compassionate, respectful, and effective care.
• Adhere to the scope of practice defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing (for LPNs).
• Adhere to the scope of practice for Medical Assistants (for MAs).
