About The Position

Adena Health is seeking a Clinic LPN or Cert-Reg Medical Assistant for a Full Time position in Endocrinology. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or advanced practice provider (APP). This role emphasizes safe, patient-centered care in accordance with established clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, utilizing foundational to moderate-complexity clinical skills. Responsibilities include direct patient care, administrative support, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The Medical Assistant (MA) works under the direct supervision of a licensed healthcare professional, delivering care in a clinic setting and providing safe, patient-centered care. Tier 1 MAs apply foundational to moderate-complexity clinical skills and knowledge, contributing to optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities include direct patient care, administrative support, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Practical Nursing (for LPNs).
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio required (for LPNs).
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program (for MAs).
  • Registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) (for MAs).
  • 1-2 years’ experience in medical office or similar capacity preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a similar capacity 1-2 years preferred.
