About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Clinic Nurse at Eras Women’s Health serves as a vital support layer to the Lead RN and clinical providers. This crucial role delivers excellent clinical care across routine gynecological visits, in-office procedures, and primary care for women. The LPN/ Clinic Nurse will be the primary point of contact for patient rooming, vital signs, chart preparation, patient communication, and day-to-day administrative coordination.

Requirements

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Arkansas, in good standing.
  • Phlebotomy competency and comfort with specimen collection and processing.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced clinic day.
  • Proficiency with EHR systems and basic administrative tools (Excel or equivalent).
  • Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills - our team heavily emphasizes patient experience and customer service.
  • Willingness to grow with the clinic as service offerings and team structure evolve.
  • Active LPN license (Arkansas)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) — required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a clinical ambulatory, primary care, or women’s health setting preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification or demonstrated experience
  • Women’s health or gynecology clinical experience — preferred

Responsibilities

  • Room all patients efficiently: escort to exam rooms, obtain vital signs, and prepare patients for examination or procedures.
  • Turn over exam rooms between patients to maintain smooth clinic flow.
  • Complete chart preparation by opening encounter notes, beginning documentation, and performing a secondary review of patient intake forms as needed.
  • Assist with advance chart preparation by entering intake information into clinical profiles.
  • Draw labs when needed.
  • Assist the Lead RN and providers during examinations and in-office gynecological procedures (e.g., chaperoning, instrument handling, patient comfort, and education).
  • Support phlebotomy and specimen collection; process, handle, and route laboratory samples per clinic protocols.
  • Administer IM/SubQ injections per provider order and under provider supervision, consistent with Arkansas LPN scope of practice.
  • Sterilize and maintain equipment per infection-control protocols.
  • Review and process patient letters and correspondence for providers.
  • Manage prior authorizations for routine medications (including refills), procedures, and referrals.
  • Sort and integrate outside care records (from external providers, labs, or imaging) into patient charts.
  • Track and maintain stock of medical supplies to keep exam rooms and storage areas fully stocked.
