Adena Health is seeking a Clinic LPN or Cert-Reg Medical Assistant for their Same Day Clinic. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Practical Nursing (for LPNs).
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio required (for LPNs).
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program (for MAs).
  • Registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) (for MAs).
  • 1-2 years preferred experience in a similar capacity (for LPNs).
  • 1-2 years’ experience in medical office or similar capacity (for MAs).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a similar capacity 1-2 years preferred (for LPNs).
  • Medical Office experience (for LPNs).

Responsibilities

  • Provides nursing care in a clinical setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or advanced practice provider (APP).
  • Delivers safe, patient-centered care in compliance with established clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Contributes to optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations.
  • Utilizes fundamental clinical skills and applies moderate to advanced-complexity clinical skills and knowledge in daily practice, often in high-complexity or specialized settings, requiring additional training and skill validation.
  • Performs direct patient care and administrative functions.
  • Actively collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to maintain the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Exemplifies organizational values by providing compassionate, respectful, and effective care.
  • Adheres to the scope of practice outlined by the Ohio Board of Nursing (for LPNs).
  • Works under the direct supervision of a licensed healthcare professional (for MAs).
  • Provides safe, patient-centered care in accordance with established clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (for MAs).
  • Provides administrative support (for MAs).
  • Upholds the highest standards of quality and service (for MAs).
  • Delivers compassionate, respectful, and effective care and adheres to the scope of practice for Medical Assistants (for MAs).
