As an LPN in Family Medicine, you will support multiple providers in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population. In this role, you will perform clinical and administrative responsibilities, collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, and build meaningful relationships with patients across the lifespan. You'll have the opportunity to expand your nursing skills through hands-on experience, ongoing education, and professional development resources while making a lasting impact on the health and well-being of the community. A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Accredited LPN program
  • Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Certification
  • Knowledge of infection control practices
  • Computer literacy

Nice To Haves

  • One year of clinical experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Certification
  • IV certification
  • Manual blood pressure certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing care to patients.
  • Administer medication.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date documentation in medical records and files.
  • Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
  • Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
  • Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
  • Follow Code Blue protocol.
