About The Position

Wilber Care Center is seeking a Full-Time LPN Charge Nurse for the evening shift. This role involves providing clinical leadership to the nursing team, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. The position offers a consistent 32-hour work week with above-average staffing ratios and supportive leadership. Requirements

• Current Nebraska Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong assessment, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervising nursing assistants and medication aides during your shift.
• Administering medications and treatments.
• Completing resident assessments and responding to changes in condition.
• Communicating with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Assisting with admissions, discharges, and physician orders.
• Promoting a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Serving as the clinical leader during evening and overnight operations.
