This position will work 16 hours per week. The role involves providing professional nursing or medical assistant care under supervision or scope of licensure for clinic patients. Responsibilities include facilitating and performing the gathering of patient information and documenting accordingly, assisting with office procedures and preparing equipment, and aiding physicians during treatments and examinations. The role also involves overseeing appointment bookings, instructing patients and families by phone, greeting and preparing patients for examination, and screening patients for appropriate information. Maintaining the timely flow of patients, communicating with hospitals and other offices, and completing forms are also key duties. The position is responsible for preparing exam rooms, including restocking treatment areas, and attending required meetings and participating in committees as requested. Employees are expected to participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations, while always maintaining patient confidentiality. Additional duties include performing community/mass/group testing as assigned and other related work as required.
