LPN - CCH Clinic Magee - Full Time
About The Position
The Clinic LPN provides patient education and consultation to explain and define complicated medical treatments and procedures, as well as perform injection training and medication education. The LPN must assist the provider in an effort to provide the highest quality of medical care in as productive and efficient manner as possible. Must understand the mechanics of the clinic and how the job interrelates with the other clinic teams to meet the goals of the clinic of offering "good patient care". Deals with a variety of patient instructions and must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Requirements
- Current license with MS State Board of Nursing
- BLS certification
- CPR certification
- Experience with Electronic medical records
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of HIPPA regulations
- Knowledge of Intramuscular injection technique and subcutaneous injection technique
- Knowledge of Reporting of incidents and injuries
- Knowledge of Universal Precautions
