About The Position
AdvisaCare is seeking an experienced, motivated, and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse to be a Care Manager at one of our beautiful Independent Living Communities in Hazel Park! This is a full-time, salaried position. The role involves utilizing all your nursing and management skills to provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population, working and learning with an interdisciplinary team of care providers in Private Duty, Skilled, and Hospice settings.
Requirements
- Current Michigan Nursing License
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience
- Current TB test & CPR Certification
- Clear Criminal History & Drug Screen
Nice To Haves
- Leadership/management experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Hiring/Training/Supervising Your Staff - Team Lead, Med Techs, Home Health Aides
- Building Relationships with Staff, Residents, Families and Community Directors
- Assessments of new residents or those being discharged back from a hospital/rehab center
- On-Call Oversight for all shifts
- Working the floor as support
- Weekly Payroll and Scheduling
