About The Position

Join our team as a night shift, PRN, Behavioral Health Unit Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Cushing, OK. Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering a variety of services for patients of all ages in the Cushing, Oklahoma area. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology and more. We also offer inpatient behavioral health care to adults experiencing a mental health crisis by offering a fully staffed team of licensed professionals, personalized treatment plans and continued support after being discharged. The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the supervision of the RN, utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to the hospital policies, procedures and protocols. The LPN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
LPN Licensure
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the RN, utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to the hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
Organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.
