Cleveland Clinic Children's Avon Pointe Family Health Center serves children from birth to young adulthood. With access to leading-edge diagnostic and treatment resources, as well as a total commitment to family-centered care, our primary care caregivers are well-equipped to diagnose and treat common, everyday illnesses, as well as childhood-related conditions, diseases and developmental issues. A caregiver in this position works varying hours between 7:00am and 8:00pm.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing
- Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

- One year of patient care experience
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care activities under the direction of an RN and/or physician.
- Collect and document objective and subjective data and observations about patients.
- Complete nursing assessments and report all data.
- Implement the current nursing care plan, medication or treatment and communicate patients’ responses.
- Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
- Perform routine laboratory tests.
- Educate patients and family members.
