About The Position

The Loyalty Marketing Analyst is responsible for managing the optimization and analysis for special campaign programs, rewards offers or test and learn initiatives to support Personalization and Digital Marketing in order to increase customer engagement and drive significant incremental sales lift. Define, plan, and implement solutions by gathering data, applying advanced analytics, and creating visualizations to interpret results, develop insights and communicate effectively to business partners.

  • 5+ years of experience in a data-driven position or analyzing A/B testing preferred
  • Computer skills include MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with visualization tools such as Tableau a plus
  • Prior experience using SQL to pull information from databases a plus
  • Retail or QSR industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and quantify the overall effectiveness and profitability of loyalty marketing and personalization strategies to drive engagement in the Wawa Rewards and digital channels to provide actionable insights to drive decision making.
  • Responsible for control group selection, measurement, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with key business partners to understand goals, make offer and/or test and learn recommendations and follow up with results and key learnings.
  • Through advanced analysis, optimize future offer and personalization strategy to maximize benefit of rewards offer strategy to improve sales, profitability, registration and customer engagement based on data insights.
  • Measure the impact of special and earned offers and/or test and learn efforts and work with key partners to optimize offer strategies.
  • Prioritize and balance objectives such as Loyalty program growth, category growth and growth of digital channels.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources to articulate a clear story around our loyalty program for key stakeholders across the business.
  • Communicate results in a concise and understandable fashion to the rest of the marketing department including partners that may not have a background in statistical analysis.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets using advanced statistical techniques resulting in actionable recommendations to maximize optimization and profitability.
  • Create clear, concise and compelling presentations with actionable insights.
  • Perform ad hoc loyalty and customer analysis as required.
  • Understand and use advanced statistical methods to ensure no biases in sample selection and measuring test versus control lift at various granular levels such as customer groupings, geographic regions, or product hierarchies.
