About The Position

The Fourth Grade Math & Social Studies Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging mathematics instruction to fourth-grade students while also teaching social studies as part of a collaborative grade-level team. The candidate should be experienced in clearly identifying learning objectives and delivering effective instruction in math and social studies. This teacher will be a member of a team of four fourth-grade educators (two math teachers and two literacy teachers) to ensure a cohesive, student-centered experience that supports academic growth, critical thinking, and a strong classroom community.

Requirements

Degree in Elementary Education required
Elementary math teaching experience preferred
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively and professionally with faculty, families, and school leadership.

Writes cohesive, concise progress reports
Clearly explains student performance to students, parents and administrators with progress reports, conferences, and other classroom communications
Participates in school activities beyond the classroom (i.e.: coaching, trips, etc.)
