About The Position

Pape' Machinery, the premier heavy equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Class A Truck Driver to join their team in Kent, WA. This role is based out of their Kent store and involves the safe and timely delivery and pick-up of equipment in the greater Seattle area and beyond. The position offers a fast-paced day full of variety, travel, and customer interaction, with opportunities for growth and a strong work-life balance.

Requirements

3 years' heavy haul truck experience with detachable gooseneck lowboy.
Class A driver's license with a good driving record.
DOT medical certificate.
Experience with e-logs and/or log books, record keeping, permitting, and state laws.
Experience working with pilot vehicles.
Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
Must be able to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of equipment and product technology.
Ability to do some heavy lifting.
Ability to operate a forklift (training is available).
Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with all other departments.
May require working overtime.

Responsibilities

Safe and timely delivery and pick-up of equipment in the greater Seattle area and beyond.
Load and unload equipment on the detachable gooseneck lowboy trailer, ensuring all safety procedures and legal protocols are followed.
Conduct proper inspections of truck and equipment.
Prepare all required documentation accurately and timely.
Communicate with customers, vendors, and other Pape' members.
Assist in yard duties.
Perform basic truck maintenance.
Instruct customers on the operation of delivered equipment.
