About The Position

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess oral and written English skills and be able to communicate with Guests and fellow Employees effectively
- Must have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills in low-voltage systems
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
- Ability to work in a chaotic or noisy environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality work
- Ability to self-generate and complete tasks
- Must be able to work alone and unsupervised at times
- May be required to work in various weather conditions
- Requires ability to work in confined spaces and on/around ladders

Nice To Haves
- Trade school or relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA safety training) are a plus
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring or low-voltage systems is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of architectural audio equipment, including speakers, amplifiers, and control systems
- Learn to perform sound tests and troubleshoot basic audio issues under supervision
- Support senior technicians in configuring audio systems for commercial spaces
- Help install and maintain PA systems
- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of PA components
- Assist in training team members on system operation
- Pull, terminate, and test network cables (e.g., Cat5e/Cat6) for AV system integration
- Support the setup of routers, switches, and other network devices
- Learn to identify and resolve basic network connectivity issues
- Expand and maintain distributed PA systems, network infrastructure, analog and VOIP phone systems
- Provide basic tech support for PA, POS, Phone, and computer workstations with assistance from senior IT technicians
- Adhere to safety guidelines during all installations to ensure compliance with local codes
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Other duties as assigned
